Given how popular Rice Crispy Treats are in other parts of the world and taking into account all the cereal bars on the local market I’ve often wondered why no Israeli company has a Rice Crispy Treat in their line of products. I was kind of pleasantly surprised to see that Telma finally got on the bandwagon. 
 

They’ve come out with 2 different flavored Rice Crispy Treats. The first flavor is the Classic Rice Crispy Treat topped with a chocolate zig zag and the second flavor is a Chocolate Flavored Rice Crispy Treat with the same chocolate zig zag on top.

MamaOf's Baked Chicken Schnitzel & Coupon

MamaOf’s latest addition is a baked, not fried, Chicken Schnitzel. The lack of frying makes it only 4% fat per 100 grams of chicken schnitzel. Given that all MamaOf chicken products are made with 100% chicken breast this makes for a much healthier schnitzel option.

I was really happy to see this healthier version hit the market but I wanted to make sure that it passed my personal taste test. If something is healthier and less fatting but I don’t like the taste I may not end up buying it on a regular basis.

If and when I find coupons for products that I reviewed I try and tell you about them as I find them. Since I didn’t have a laptop for a while I have a few coupons to tell you about today.

Osem’s Flavored Shtuchim (Flat Pretzels)

I don’t plan on going back and blogging about all the products I missed while I didn’t have a laptop but there are some products that I tasted over the past month or so that I think are worth a blog post, even if I’m are fairly late blogging about them. You may have tried them by now, so these posts will be for those who have yet to try these items and wanted some information about them.

One such product is Osem’s Flavored Shtuchim. They're Osem's answer to Bagel Bagel's Dakim Dakim flavored flat pretzels. Yes Osem was the first local company to get on the flat pretzel bandwagon in the first place but it didn’t take too long for both Meir Bagel and Bagel Bagel to follow with a flat pretzel of their own. Bagel Bagel went one step further and introduced different flavors on their flat pretzel, now it was Osem’s turn to roll out their flavored Shtuchim/flat pretzels.

Just like Bagel Bagel, Osem also went for a Sour Cream ‘n Onion flavor as well as a Chili flavored flat pretzel (granted Bagel Bagel’s chili was a Cheddar Cheese with a touch of Chili and Osem’s is only chili) but still since Bagel Bagel did them already I don’t consider either of them all that new and exciting.

Osem's Bissli Yalla

As with the Must Apple Flavored Cube Gum post from the other day, I know I'm a little late posting about this Yalla Bisli snack you may have tried it by now, but this is another one of a few posts I was able to salvage from my broken laptop. Since it was written and ready to go I figured I'll post it just in case there were people out there who would be interested in reading it

 I still don't have a new laptop but hope to have one very soon. Once I do I should be able to get back into the swing of posting on a more regular basis. Till then thank you for your patience

Osem Bissli has a new line on the market that they are calling "Yalla". Currently there are three flavors to choose from; Natural, American Barbeque and Spicy. Osem intends on adding other flavors in the future.

Yalla is a popular slang word that basically means "let's go" or "come on"; depending how it's used in the conversation. Like many slang words I find it a little bit difficult to pin point the exact translation of the word but that’s the gist of it. I'm really not sure how or why Osem thought Yalla was the right name for this line of Bissli. I don’t get the connection, but OK, I'm not here to discuss the name, I am here to tell you what I thought of the Yalla Bissli Snacks that I tasted.

Must's Apple Flavored Cube Gum

I know I'm a little late posting about this gum and you may have tried it by now but this is one of a few posts I was able to salvage from my broken laptop. Since it was written and ready to go I figured I'd post it just in case there were people out there who would be interested in reading it.

Must added a new flavor to their Cubed Gums. This time it's Green Apple flavored gum. As I mentioned last March, when Must added Tropical Fruit and Strawberry flavors, I'm not a huge fan of sweet fruit flavored gums but like I wrote in my review of Hubba Bubbas Apple Flavored Gum I do like sour fruit flavored gums to some degree, so I was curious to see if this Must Cubed Apple flavored gum lived up to the word "sour" that Elite wrote on the corner of the box.

Just a quick update to explain why I haven't been blogging,

 I hope to be back to reviewing new products as soon as possible.

 I just don’t know exactly when that will be

but hopefully sooner rather than later.
