I was unable to attend the 2014 Product Of The Year bloggers event that took place recently, yet Amit, Product of the Year Community Manager, was kind enough to send my way the signature red bag full of winning items for me to tryout.

Last week was the 2013 Product Of The Year community event. Like last year, I had the privilege of being invited. As a blogger who writes about new products on the local market I was thrilled to be invited. Since my blog is mainly about food and drinks I will focus most of this post talking about the winners in those categories but I will touch on other products as well

About a month ago, in my post about the Product Of the Year Community Event, I told you that in the bag of winning items I received the Colgate Max White One Toothpaste. I said I would try it for a while and possibly report back. Well I have used it for over a month now and here is what I have to say about it.

Product Of the Year Community Event 2012 אירוע קהילת מוצר השנה

I had the privilege of being invited to an Israeli Product of the Year Community event which took place last week. As a blogger who has written about the winners of the local Products Of the Year items, I was thrilled to be invited. Everything about the event was so well organized and ran so smoothly, it was such a pleasure and extremely enjoyable. I thought today I would share with you some of the details of the event.

The annual Product of the Year Awards took place recently. I wrote about it here on Isreview last year as well. Since many of the food and drink winners this year are products I reviewed within the past year I thought it would be even more fun and interesting for me to blog about the winners this time.

Awards are given in other categories aside from food, snacks and drinks but since this blog is about 95% food, snacks and drink reviews I will mostly mention the food, snacks and drink winner. Let’s get started with the Food and Snack items... And The Winners Are...

"Product of the Year" Winners 2011

Today I'm doing something a little different here . A few days ago the "Product of the Year" awards ceremony took place in Tel Aviv. 39 products were rewarded in different categories. You may have tried many of them throughout the year but some may be new to you. I thought you may be interested to see which products won for 2010-2011.

"Product of the Year" awards take place in many different countries around the world. 6 years ago Israel joined and now Israel has an award ceremony of it's own, every year. Companies send their new products to "Product of the Year" and a panel of experts decide which products are new and innovative enough to participate. After a list is put together, 2000 members of the public vote for their favorite. (I have no idea who the 2000 voters are.) 

"Product of the Year's" goal is to reward Israel's best, most innovative products. You may start noticing their logo on the winning products in the supermarket. "It's a fast way for people to discover newer products and a simple but highly effective way for manufacturers to give sales of their products a significant boost."
