Klik Kosher for Pesach Wafer Roll
![]() |
| קליק חטיף וופל כשר לפסח |
Last
year I reviewed a few of Klik Kosher for Pesach Chocolate Covered Cereal snack packs. They are available again this year but my assumption is they are the
exact same product I reviewed last year so I don't plan on re-reviewing those or any of the Pesach products I posted about last year. That is unless I try
something and it seems very different to what I tasted and reviewed last year but
my guess is that will not happen much.
One
Klik snack I didn’t review last year was this Chocolate Covered Kosher for
Pesach Nougat filled Wafer Roll. The package says it’s a “new recipe” but I
didn’t taste it last year so I can’t compare it to that.
They
come in a white chocolate coating and a milk chocolate coating. I wanted to try
both but the supermarkets I went to only had the milk chocolate one. So that’s
the one I will review here.

Product Of The Year Winners 2012
| מוצרי השנה 2012 |
The
annual Product of the Year Awards took place recently. I wrote about it here
on Isreview last year as well. Since many of the food and drink winners this year are
products I reviewed within the past year I thought it would be even more fun
and interesting for me to blog about the winners this time.
Awards
are given in other categories aside from food, snacks and drinks but since this blog is about
95% food, snacks and drink reviews I will mostly mention the food, snacks and drink winner.
If you want to see the winners in other categories you can check out the Product of the Year website for all the details.
Let’s
get started with the Food and Snack items... And The Winners Are...

Sucrazit’s Stevia Based Sweetener Packets
![]() |
| סוכרזית סטייוויה |
Sucrazit,
one of Israel’s leading sugar substitute companies, have finally gotten on
board and came out with a Stievia based sweetener in packets. For years now I have
been looking for a convenient stevia based sweetener here in Israel. I was able
to find dried stevia leaves or a liquid alcohol based one but those did not
suit my needs. I ended up buying stevia packets from overseas but now finally
they are available here, from Sucrazit. They can be found at many of the major
supermarkets most likely in the “health food” department.
In
case you’re unfamiliar with what stevia is here is a rundown from Wikipedia:

Osem’s Hazelnut Lachmit Crackers, Tnuva’s Low Lactose 5% Soft White Cheese & Beit Hashita’s Green Pitted Olives in Lemon Seasoning

I have three products that I wanted to tell you about but for one reason or another I don’t
have that much to write about each of them. I thought I'd just give you a short Bottom Line on each one, in case you saw them in
the store and wondered if you should try them. The three products are: Osem’s Hazelnut Lachmit Crackers, Tnuva’s Low Lactose 5% Soft White Cheese & Beit Hashita’s Green Pitted Olives in Lemon Seasoning.

Loacker Chocolate Coated Wafer Sheets
| פולייט של לואקר דפי וופל |
Loacker
has a new product on the local market; Chocolate Coated Wafer Sheets. They come
in two flavors. One is a white (vanilla) wafer sheet coated in 73% milk-chocolate
and drizzled with 9% dark-chocolate and the second is a dark (chocolate) wafer
sheet coated in 73% dark-chocolate and has a 9% white-chocolate drizzle.
The
Loacker website describes them as:
“Light and crispy wafer leaves covered with the finest chocolate: what a
delight! Incredibly rich in chocolate (82% of the product) and so
irresistible…perfectly in line with the expectations of chocolate lovers
searching for light crispiness“
Being a big fan of
chocolate, and many other Loacker product, their description sealed the deal,
now I surely wanted to try this.
